Planner / Assistant Planner

Woolf Bond Planning LLP is a specialist Town Planning Consultancy and is looking to add to their team with the appointment of a talented individual in the role of either planner or assistant planner to contribute to the success of the practice.

The practice, based in Three Mile Cross, Nr Reading, concentrates on residential and commercial projects and has a well established client base of major housebuilders and other commercial firms, together with organisations including the HBF and other public bodies.

You will need to be qualified to at least Degree/Diploma level in planning or similar, with relevant professional experience in either the private or public sector and be a Member or working towards Membership of the RTPI..

The successful canditate will be expected to assist with a wide variety of tasks including the preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications and appeals, undertaking site appraisals and making representations upon development plan documents. A general understanding of development control and planning policy is therefore essential. You will also be expected to be highly motivated and organised, with good interpersonal skills. Well developed IT skills will be an advantage..

Salary and benefits package is negotiable dependent upon experience.
